"I want to look natural"

This is probably the most common sentence we hear. At Bold Beauty we start slow as it can be scary when starting with injectables for the first time & we understand that - your trust in us is valuable. Injectables, when done correctly will give you a natural rested and refreshed look.

what is the difference between "botox" and "filler"?

'Botox' is a brand name, the active ingredient is Botulinum Toxin A, it is injected into muscles causing paralysis thus reducing movement in the treated area. 'Filler' is made up of hyaluronic acid gel and is injected to restore lost facial volume and enhance features such as lips and cheeks.

what is the difference between a "lip flip" & "lip filler"?

A lip flip is a treatment using Botulinum Toxin to relax a hyperactive Orbicularis Oris (the muscle around the lips). By relaxing this muscle it prevents it from rolling in giving the appearance of a fuller lip. Lip filler uses hyaluronic acid gel to give hydration and volume to the lips while also providing symmetry.

does it hurt?

Pain is tolerated differently by each individual however,  'Botox/Dysport' injections can feel like plucking eyebrow hair. Topical numbing is provided with  filler injections to keep you comfortable.
